Lead Auditing (Remote)

Course Description

Live, instructor-led remote training that covers the skills, techniques and guidance to plan, implement and manage an audit program. Based on the internationally recognized best practices of ISO 19011:2018, this course prepares you to act as an Audit Team Leader and guide audit team members through an audit

NOTE – This course builds on the “Internal Auditing” training module and does not cover the skills and techniques used by audit team members to prepare for and carry out their audit assignments.

Who Should Take It

Individuals with responsibility for the overall planning, implementation and management of an audit program.  This includes, but is not limited to:

• ISO Coordinators, Quality Managers & Management Representatives
• Leaders of the Quality Team and/or Internal Audit Team
• ISO 9001 Auditors, Quality Professionals and Consultants

Course Content

• Audit planning basics – criteria, objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities.
• Determining Audit Program objectives, risk and opportunities.
• Establishing the Audit Program (audit schedules, process/requirements matrices, etc.).
• Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing/improving the Audit Program.
• Roles and responsibilities of different parties during the audit.
• Reviewing documented information and preparing the Audit Plan.
• Conducting the opening meeting.
• Gathering and reporting the different types of audit findings.
• Conducting the closing meeting.
• Completing the Audit Report and conducting audit follow up.

Prerequisites

Participants must have completed the “Internal Auditing” module, or have received equivalent training as an Internal Auditor.
